Kappl - sunniest ski spot in the Paznaun Valley!

The beautiful mountain village “Kappl” is a stone's throw away (only 10 km) from the world-famous ski resort “Ischgl” in the “Paznaun” valley. The base stations of the mountain railways lie at 1175 m a.s.l.. The mountains reach an altitude of up to 2700 m thus Kappl is among the snow sure regions in the alps. Even though the hillsides face southwards, the descents down into the valley are kept open most of the time thanks to artificial snowmaking. Coming from the East it is easiest to reach “Kappl” via the “Inntalautobahn” A12. Leave the autobahn at exit “Pfians”(“Paznaun” valley). Coming from the West, use the A14 via “Bregenz” and “Bludenz”. In this case you continue on the federal highway S16 after the autobahn ends and also exit at “Pfians”. The federal highway is a well constructed road which leads you another 60 km right to your desired destination "Kappl". Attention: Don’t exit at “Bludenz” because the “Bieler Height" (Bieler Höhe) is closed during Winter! And now enjoy our test report and find out whether Kappl suits your taste!
