Of course, “Kappl” with its 40 km of skiable terrain belongs to the smaller variety of ski resorts. However the sunny southward facing hillsides beneath the 2720 m high “Alblittkpfe” also offer a lot of variety to more experienced skiers. The range stretches from the easy area of the “Sunny-Mountain-Adventurepark” to the demanding black (difficult) slopes at the “Alblittkopfbahn” and the double chair lift “Gongall”. The view south- and eastwards into the “Silvretta massiv” is breathtaking. So “Kappl” is definitely recommendable for a day-trip. Those planning a several day stay in the “Paznaun” valley can always transfer to other ski resorts like “See”, “Ischgl” or “Galtür”, which are only a few minutes away, and get their fill of slopes in case Kappl does not fully satisfy the need for abundant terrain.
