Kasberg Grünau – beautiful destination in Upper Austria

The family friendly ski resort Kasberg Grünau is located on the eastern brim of the Salzkammergut, at the foot of the Totes Gebirge (which translates into Dead Mountain). With its 40km of trails it can be counted among the largest ski resorts in Upper Austria. The voyage there is most conveniently via the A1 in direction Salzburg – Vienna. Exit in Regau and follow the national road B145 and B120 in direction Grünau im Almtal. You can also travel to the resort via the Phyrenautobahn (Phyren Highway) A9, exit at Ried im Traunkreis and follow the signposting to the ski resort. The base and only access to Kasberg Grünau is located 3 km outside Grünau Village and features large parking spaces. A skishuttle covers the 200 remaining meters from the parking lot to the base. The state-of-the-art 8-passenger gondola takes you up into the resort.
