The ski resort Kasberg Grünau will enthuse riders who are on the pursuit of air time! The terrain park located right below the 1600m high Regenkar features everything a freestyle heart could desire: rails, jumps and boxes of varying shapes and levels. Those who prefer groomed terrain to air beneath their feet can draw their turns into the predominantly broad slopes of Kasberg Grünau. Recommendable terrain are the 20 km of intermediate and difficult trails especially trails 12 and 13 in the Sitzplaneck-Area as well as the 4 km long Madries descent 1 and 1a which takes you to the base of the 8 passenger gondola. If you get bored riding the groomed slopes you have plenty of possibility of heading into ungroomed terrain off the beaten tracks. The fact that the resort features predominatly tow lifts is a bit of a downer and might discourage riders. However the plus features definitely make up for the lacking lifts and rather small size of Kasberg Grünau and is therefore awarded excellent 4 out of 5 stars.
