The ski resort Katschberg-Aineck is situated right at the border of Carinthia and Salzburg. The skiing-area can be entered at two main base stations, the Katschberg mountain pass (1641 m) and St.Margarethen. To get there take the B99 via St.Michael im Lungau and Rennweg. Huge parking areas await the visitors in walking distance (100 – 200m) to the base stations in St.Margarethen as well as at the mountain pass. The lift facilities at the Katschberg are pretty modern and 60 kilometres of groomed slopes can be discovered.
