Keystone - "Three Mountains - Five Bowls - One Resort" |
| „Dercum Mountain“ (3548m), North Peak" (3554 m) und "The Outback" (3652 m) are the well-sounding names of the peaks of the “Keystone” ski resort. More than 120 trails are made accessible by 20 lift facilities. Keystone is among the most popular ski resorts in Colorado. From Denver it`s only a 1.5 hour drive. Folllow the Interstate I – 70 to Silverthorne. From there Dillon is signposted and then finally Keystone. Unlike many ski resorts in the USA Keystone features free parking spaces in short walking distance to the lift facilities. “The River Gondola” takes the visitors from the base to the peak of the “Dercum Mountain” where quite some intermediate and easy level terrain can be found. The flanks of the other two mountains are dominated by difficult terrain. Almost 50 % of keystones trails are of difficult level!! If Keystone can also score in the beginners or intermediate categories you will find out by clicking through the categories. |
