It is not in vain that Kitzbühel is renowned for its après ski array. 42 mountain restaurants and huts on the slopes are certainly a reference. And the prices aren’t higher than in other ski resorts in the Alps. Three euros for an Almdudler (Austrian herb lemonade) and 6,50 Euros for a pork roast are ok prices. Worthy of praise are also the sunny patios offered by many huts where one can sun bathe in deckchairs. For those who chose one of the huts located by the slopes descending to the valley can stay way after lifts close and does not have to worry about not getting down to the village. But ski carefully when night falls especially on the Hahnenkammtrail. For those having already consumed one or several Jagatee (tea and rum, sometimes also rum and tee  ) should descend before it gets dark. And because the party goes on in Kitzbühel there is only one possible result, 5 stars for après ski in Kitzbühel!
