A respectable number of 14 difficult runs shows impressively that Kitzbühel has a great array of slopes for experts and team skiers. A very special attraction is of course the “Streif”, the famous Hahnenkamm descent (21). Those who claim they are expert skiers must at least once in their life master this extraordinary slope! Those having overcome the “Mausefalle” (mouse trap) without problems truly are expert skiers. Worthy of praise are also the black trails from the Steinbergkogel (23 and 38). A further highlight is the permanent racing circuit with time measurement. And especially experts will be fond of the fact that not even they will be able to explore all 7 peaks. Therefore it is recommendable to stay for a whole weekend in order to tap the full potential in one of the best ski resorts for experts in Austria. 5 stars for Kitzbühel in the expert category.
