Kitzbühel offers the intermediate skiers the ultimate mountain experience in Austria. The ski resort reaches from the Hahnenkamm mountain to the Resterhöhe mountain covering unbelievable 7 peaks. For all those planning a ski excursion to Kitzbühel should stay at least 2 days in this beautiful resort. It is impossible to explore the entire resort in only one day. Especiall nice trails are the Wurzhöhe (60), all descents at the Maierl lifts and of course the legendary Hahnenkamm run. For the Hahnenkamm run one should however dispose of skiing skills! When the weather is nice winter sports fans are confronted with a dazzling mountain-scenery. The only little flaw are the missing bubbles on the chairlifts which protect the mountain tourists from wind and snow. There is no further criticism to be uttered in the intermediate category therefore 5 stars are simply fair.
