Kaprun is a recommendable destination for boarders. Both, the Maiskogel subarea and the Kitzsteinhorn subarea provide boarder parks featuring kickers and rails. Snowboarding beginners also get their moneys worth as they have 21 km of gentle terrain at their disposal! Experienced boarders can test their skills on 19km of intermediate terrain and some ungroomed terrain next to slopes. Only downer is the fact that at the upper part of the glacier t-bar lifts are the sole lift facilities. Therefore snowboarders should know how to handle the t-bars. All in all a very nice resort for boarders and we therefore award 4 stars.
