At the time of testing two skiing lodges/ restaurants were open (“Gletschermühle” and “Bella Vista”). This might be sufficient in summer time but the “experienced” après skier will not be satisfied. The hut “Bella Vista” is situated on the Kitzsteinhorn peak therefore the guests can enjoy an outstanding view from the sunny terrace or from inside the lodge through large windows. But the Bella Vista really strains the wallet. Mullet wine for instance costs of 3, 70€, 0.5 l beer (3€). The last possibility to get to the base area is at 4pm. Therefore the winter athlete has to go to “Kaprun” to party after lifts close.
