„Kronplatz“- South Tyrols skiing mountain No. 1!

The skiing resort at „Kronplatz“ is very easily reachable. Should you be coming from the west it’s recommendable to take the „Brenner“ autobahn A 22 (Exit „Bressanone/Brixen“) and then the federal highway SS 49 to „Bruneck“. At „Bruneck you’ll find the largest of the „Kronplatz“ mountain railway base stations. Coming from the east you should also take the SS49 to reach „Bruneck“. From the south the federal highway SS244 is the best choice. Once you’ve reached the village of „Bruneck“ the way to the „Kronplatz“ mountain railway is well sign-posted. Another entrance tot he skiing area are located at the villages of „Gassl“ and „Sankt Vigil“. Spacious parking areas located very close tot he base area of the ski-lift-facilities can however only be found at „Bruneck/Reischach“. With ist 19 gondolas, 6 chair-lifts and only one t-bar lift the resort „Kronplatz“ offers highly modern ski-lift-facilities with a transportation capacity of 62.700 passengers per hour.
