For race- and snowboarders the mountain top of the “Kronplatz” with its endlessly wide slopes are more than perfect. Here snowboarders can do their verves without getting under someone’s skis. Every rider, no matter how much or little skilled, will find something to suit his or her taste. The resort has 25 category blue, 12 category red and 5 category black runs. Although the resort lacked a fun-park with rails and kickers, at least when we tested it, the halfpipe alongside the “Belvedere” slope (7) is however all the more impressive. The halfpipe is over three meters high and allows nice jumps with a gorgeous view of the Tyrolean mountains. To those snowborders who can live without a fun-park we can warmly recommend the skiing area around the “Kronplatz”.
