3 après huts can be found on the slopes which cater excellently to the well being of the winter athletes. The “Graf Ferdinand Hans House” opposite the Alpenrosenlift at trail 11 is meeting point for skiers, boarders, tobogganists and hikers. Left of trail 6a the smaller rustic “Dreiseenhütte” can be found. And just on the other side the “Berghaus (mountain house) Kaiser Maximilian” from where one has a breathtaking view of Kühtais spectacular mountains. Also in the valley quite some après ski can be found e.g. weekly hut nights with live music in the “Dorfstadl”. And even after lifts close spirits stay high at the après rondell. Those who love “modern cuisine” will feel quite at home at McKühtai the snack-bar right by the base of the HochAlterBahn. However also in Kühtai après ski is a bit of a strain on the wallet.
