After taking a first look at the trail map the expert skier could be a little disappointed of the Lech / Zürs ski resort. But don’t get a wrong impression!! There might be only one difficult trail to be found on the trail map (Sonnbergabfahrt 15 a in Zürs) but 5 demanding and 13 intermediate skiroutes should make up for the lacking black diamond runs. We especially liked the short skiroute 45 at the Steinmähderlift. But to tap its full potential there should be enough snow. At the Weibermahdlift on the Berger-Rinderalpe the expert skiers can test their skills on the speed-check circuit. In Zürs at the Babylift and in Lech at the Hinterwieslift permanent training circuits are to be found. Recommendable is also the 22km “White Ring”. A ski round where 5500 height meters must be overcome. All in all Lech / Zürs narrowly misses our highest mark in the expert skier category.
