Lenzerheide, where sunshine and powder are no uncommon occurrences!
Lenzerheide is located in a high valley situated between the Stätzerhorn and Piz Scalottas mountain chains. The resort lies between the towns of Parpan and Valbella in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. On the eastern and western sides of the valley are the ski area's trails. The valley sits at ca. 1500 meters above sea-level, and the individual peaks reach heights of up to almost 3000 meters (Rothorn 2980m, Stätzerhorn 2575m). The ski area is accessible at more than one spot; if the sun is shining (which it often does!), we recommend entering on the west side, between Stätzerhorn and Piz Scalottas, in order to enjoy the morning sun to the fullest. The ski area is spread out over 155 kilometers of trails, 19 of which are expert, 64 intermediate and 72 beginner. A total of 39 lifts transport skiers and snowboarders up-mountain. The easiest way to get to Lenzerheide is to take the A13 and exit at Chur-Sür. After another 19km along the 13/3, you've reached your destination.| Final grade: |
