The ideal blend of trails of different levels of ability (33% easy/ 42% intermediate/ 25% difficult) make sure that snowboarders of all levels of ability will find something to fit their fancy. We advise snowboarding beginners to get a ski pass for the sub area Val Thorens. Many easy slopes can be found there descending from the 2803m high Col de la Chambre. Val Thorens also features a babylift that is very helpful for absolute novices. Those that long for more diversity than the slopes can offer will be thrilled by the funpark. The quadruple chair lift transports the athletes over and over again to the funpark entrance. This boarder park, situated right in Val Thorens, features rails and various kickers. The sub area Val Thorens is also home to a boarder-cross-park. Other funparks can be found in the sub areas Méribel and Les Menuires (see trail map). Also to be mentioned are the infinite off-piste opportunities! (mind current avalanche situation!!!). Due to its many funparks, the unbeatable array of slopes and the great off-piste opportunities “Les 3 Vallées” truly deserves our highest mark of 5 stars!
