Quiet and nice ski resort in proximity to Grenoble!

The ski resort „Les 7 Laux“ is situated in the heart of the “Departement Isère” about 25 km north east of the former Olympia location Grenoble. From the south it is comfortably accessible from Grenoble on the highway A41 exit 24b. That part of the highway is free of charge. From the north the A41 is only partly recommendable. In France the toll for using 100km of highway is 10 euros (in Austria for the same amount of money one can use all highways for 10 days!!!) From the north via the Swiss Geneva we recommend the national road N508, change to the N90 in Albertville. These roads are well constructed and above all free of charge. In Froges narrow serpentines take you to one of the three bases Playnet (1450), Pipay (1550) or Prapoutel (1350). Despite its 120 km of trails les 7 Laux is not among the largest ski resorts in the French Alps. The 39 trails in varying levels of difficulty are however sufficient to please all levels of ability!
