Loferer Almbahnen: Valuation

A first glance at the mountain map makes clear that this is a perfect resort for beginners. Once you’ve left the gondola of the “Lofer Alm-Bahn 2”, you can immediately get a full view of the great number of category blue runs at the plateau between “Schönbühel” (1623m) and “Schwarzeneck” (1565). For complete beginners the “Kinderland Komfortlift” at the base station of the “Loferer Alm-Bahn 2” can be more than recommended. From here you can easily reach all other category blue runs at the plateau. Two other babylifts, the “Faistauer” ski lift facilities, are located at the base station directly at “Lofer”. For novices who already have a little bit of experience on the skis, the category blue run from the “Schönbühel” (Please check out mountain map!) is a nice option. All in all, the “Loferer” resort can be warmly recommended to still inexperienced skiers, who want to improve their skills. No other resort in the Alps offers better conditions and so many nice ski lift facilities as does the skiing area at “Lofer”.

The plateau at the foot of the 1623 m high "Schönbühel" is relatively even and therefore very suitable for beginners.	The babylift at the base station of the "Loferer Alm-Bahn 1" is perfect for practicing.	Numerous category blue runs offer many options for beginners.
Not only at the base area, but also at the "Loferer Alm" childrends area with the 90 meters long baby/practice lift, youngsters will have a great time.	The category blue "family" run "Schönbühelbahn".
