The Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area in the Bernese Highlands (canton of Bern, Switzerland) lies above the three base terminals Alpbach (located directly in Meiringen), Reuti and Twing. The resort is especially accomodating for beginners of all ages, and yet also manages not to leave the more advanced skiers and boarders with the short end of the stick. Its very modern lifts, including 5 gondolas, 4 chairlifts and 9 tows, take winter athletes up to a height of 2433 meters above sea level. What distinguishes Meiringen-Hasliberg from many other resorts is that almost every part of it can be reached without the help of a single tow. The best way to get there by car is via Lucerne – Brünig Pass or Bern – Interlaken to Meiringen-Hasliberg.| Final grade: |
