"Mitterdorf" - A family – relax-resort!

The resort “Mitterdorf” is located at the small village of “Mitterfirmiansreut” (near “Philipsreut, known for being a Czech-Bavarian boarder town). You can easily reach the village with car or bus via the federal highway “B12”, the main aterial road of the lower Bavarian Forest and the Czech Republic. The next bigger cities are the major district town “Freyung” (about 20 km away) or the well-known city “Passau” (about 60 km away). The resort offers more than enough parking space for everyone, which is really nice. The short walk from the parking lot to the main cash box is a great plus of the resort. The price-performance-ration, however, tends to the price-side. A day-pass costs 16 € and a 3-hours-ticket 10 €. The very short waiting times at the ski-lifts (at least the day we were there) compensate for the ticket-price.
