The glacier ski resort in the Mölltal (Möll valley) fits the demands of intermediate skiers very well. The easy slopes Schareck[2] and Wurtenboden[6] are partly of intermediate level. In combination with the very broad slope Schareck[1], the Mölltaler Glacier features some pretty fine terrain for sportive skiers. Nearly all descents are pretty broad. Hence high speed skiing is possible even during summer. Moreover skiers who prefer skiing unhurriedly in beautiful mountain scenery are faced with one of the most beautiful panoramic views in Carinthia. In the case of good weather conditions, one can even spot the far away mountains of Italy from the Schareck mountain peak (3122 m above sea level).
