During summertime the glacier ski resort “Mölltaler Gletscher” features not many possibilities for families with small kids. The short t-bar lift “Stübele” and the practice area at the mountain station of the cablecar are not in operation during summer. If your children are older than six years and if they have had enough practice in alpine skiing you and your children can spend some very enjoyable moments on the glacier. The skiing-area is not too large, hence there is no danger of loosing track of the kids. Moreover there are no dangerous abysses therefore parents can also spend a carefree day on the slopes.
