The Mölltaler Glacier provides beginners with 18 skiable km of gentle terrain. Absolute novices will find excellent conditions to practice their first turns at the Stübele Lift as well as the two short tow lifts close to the middle station. Once one obtains security on skis convenient slopes are nr. 2 and nr. 3 of Scharek as well as slope nr. 5 and 6 next to the Klühspies panorama lift. From the glacier plateau to the middle station there are only expert and intermediate level trails. However the intermediate level run nr. 9 should not be too demanding. Should one still not believe in mastering this trail one can also take the Eissee gondola back to the middle station. In the category beginners the winter sports area Mölltal glacier receives 4 Stars.
