Also the very skilled skier should not turn their nose up at the Mölltal glacier as they will find satisfactory skiing conditions there. The winter sports area has 6 km of difficult groomed terrain at the excellent skiers’ disposal. Especially worth mentioning are slopes nr. 4 and 4a next to the Glacier Jet as well as slope nr. 10. If you are interested in training circuits these have to be reserved at the management. Those who long for off-piste adventure will find excellent free ride conditions. But always mind the avalanche warning system!! An especially demanding free ride descent is situated next to the expert level run Nr. 4. Another total of 3 ungroomed trails for those who prefer natural slopes can be found in proximity to the runs 9 and 10 descending to the middle-staion. Therefore the Mölltal glacier receives 4 out of 5 stars.
