The wintersports area at the Mölltal glacier also offers families variety and entertainment. 41 km of easy and intermediate terrain cover the Mölltal glacier. The small family members who still feel a little insecure on skis or board can improve their skills in the beginners area next to the middle station at the Stübele Lift. Once confidence is obtained one can give all the other easy and intermediate level runs a try and enjoy a great ski day. Recommendable slopes for families are the broad easy trails Nr. 2 and nr.3 of Scharek as well as the intermediate family descent nr. 9 to the middle station. Don’t forget to also have a look around as the view is breathtakingly beautiful! We think Mölltal glacier deserves 4 stars in the family category.
