The most southern situated glacier ski resort in Austria offers every thing an advanced skier could dream of. Long intermediate level cruising runs and broad slopes to test ones carving skills. Surrounded by the soaring mountain scenery of the Kärntner Alps the advanced skier will find 23 skiabable km of intermediate level slopes. Especially enjoyable are the down hill runs nr.1 and nr. 7 from Sharek to Klühspes Panorama station where a difference of 700 m of altitude are mastered. The easy descents nr. 2 and 3 from Sharek are excellent carving terrain. But all most all the slopes in the Mölltal glacier resort have a satisfactory breadth for carvers and the glacier can therefore really be referred to as a carving paradise. Because of the above average offer of slopes for the athletic ambitioned skier Mölltal glacier receives 5 stars in the advanced skier category.
