With more than 50 km of gentle, intermediate and difficult groomed terrain the Mölltal glacier offers satisfactory skiing and riding conditions for all levels of ability. All slopes dispose of adequate breadth and are therefore not too crammed with winter athletes. Snowboarders will especially enjoy slope Nr.1 and 3 of Schareck but also the descents to the Hohwurtensoeicher should live up to the snowboarders expectations of a nice carving slope. The powder runs “off the beaten track” will particularly accommodate free-riders. Last but not least the Mölltaler glacier also has a nice funpark featuring boarder cross, kickers and rails. Only missing is a halfpipe. Therefore also in this category 4 out of 5 stars.
