Skiing in Australia does not include loud parties on the mountain (in contrast to the après spots in Austria). But Mt Buller still has something to offer after lifts have closed. Try night skiing while stars twinkle above you on Mt Buller´s popular Bourke Street run or see a blockbuster in the cinema in the village. After working up an appetite on the slopes there are restaurants and cafés on the slopes and in the village to satisfy everyone´s cravings. Whether you are after a quick bite to eat or looking for a fine dining experience, Mt Buller has over 30 venues that are sure to tantalise your taste buds. Visit Kaptans at Hotel Pension Grimus, renowned for its delicious food, impressive European-style hospitality and personal attention from the Grimus family. Conveniently located at the base of Bourke Street run Cattleman´s Café with it´s rustic décor is a good alternative. If you don´t need discos and loud party on the mountain (the next bigger town is a 2 hours drive from Mt Buller). Chances are high your stay in Mt Buller will remain unforgettable.
