All winter sports athletes that have skied in Austria will know that après-ski in Australia will be far less loud and more relaxing. But for Australia standards Hotham offers pretty good spots for skiers and boarders that want to have fun off the slopes as well. As soon as the sun sets, Hotham comes alive with over 20 bars and restaurants offering everything from a casual fireside meal to a fine dining experience showcasing regional products from North East Victoria. There is even a fairly good party scene on the mountain (unique for Australia) with nightclubs and some rustic bars. A drink with friends or a barbecue at Zirky´s is a real “must-do” at Hotham Village.
