The best snow in Carinthia!

The “Skiarena Nassfeld” (skiing arena Nassfeld) is situated in the midst of the so-called “karnische Region” where the boarders of the three countries Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet. From the north the ski resort is most comfortably accessible via the “Tauernautobahn” (Tauern highway) A10 (toll gates at the tunnels “Tauerntunnel” and “Katschbergtunnel”), exit 159 at Paternion-Feistritz and keep in direction Hermagor. Continue on the main road B111 (“Gailtal-Bundesstraße) and then turn onto the main road B90. Once you reach Hermagor there are only 8 km left before reaching the small village Tröpolach where the base station of the Millenium-Express, the main entrance of the ski resort Nassfeld Hermagor, can be found. If you approach the resort from the south (Italy or Slovenia) we recommend to use the so-called “Alpen Autostrada” (alps highway) A23 until you reach the main road B11. In walking distance (50 - 400m) to the base station of the Millenium-Express huge parking areas are available for the visitors. The large Millenium-Express lift facility carries 3600 winter athletes per hour up to the skiing-area Nassfeld-Hermagor.
