The ski resort Nassfeld Hermagor offers several different superlatives: The Millenium-Express gondola is the longest cableway of the Alps with a total length of 6001 meters. The 2,2 km long floodlit slope is among Europe´s longest floodlit descents. Not many ski resorts can compete with the ski resort Nassfeld Hermagor where the categories intermediate skiers and expert skiers are concerned. Skiing only demanding slopes all day long is possible only here in Hermagor or at the ski resort Obertauern in Salzburg. Furthermore there is great après-ski at the base station in Tröpolach and in Hermagor. Hence Nassfeld Hermagor is among the few ski resorts that were able to obtain five stars out of five in three categories of our test (advanced skiers, expert skiers and après-ski). If there were more slopes and lift facilities which fit the demands of novice skiers and small children, the ski resort Nassfeld Hermagor would surely permanently remain in our international TOP 10. Due to the very high transport capacity of 44.000 persons per hour, the ski resort Nassfeld Hermagor is also recommendable for day-trips.
