Nauders is situated in the very south of Tyrol right at the boarder to Southern Tyrol, Italy. It belongs to the ski association “Reschenpass Skiparadies” that interconnects the ski resorts Nauders in Austria and Schönebenand and St. Valentin both situated in Italy. All three ski resorts cover 111 km of skiable terrain. Furthermore there are 25 lift facilities at the winter sports fans disposal. Nauders, with its 70 km of skibable terrain is the largest of the three resorts. From the north Nauders is most conveniently accessible via the Inntalautabahn (Inntal highway) exit Landeck. In Landeck follow the signage on the Reschenpass to Nauders. For those coming from the south travel through the Vinschgau in Southern Tyrol via Meran and Schlanders. The base station of the Bergkristall-lift is situtated at about 1 km from Nauders. In proximity to the gondola parking facilities (without charge) are situated. The skiresorts altitude lies between 1394m and 2850 (Gueser Kopf) and therefore belongs to the most snow sure ski resorts in Tyrol.
