The Nauders ski area on the Reschen Pass offers 75 kilometres of pistes of all levels of difficulty. There are wide carving pistes, a 9 km long fitness trail, deep-snow slopes, ski tours and mogul slopes.

Small visitors can let off steam in the Nauderix Kinderland at the Bergkastel mountain station. Fun fairy tale figures lead over paths, moguls and snow tunnels. The little ones can then strengthen themselves in their own children's restaurant. Four magic carpets transport the kids back to the top, and there are additional ski school training lifts. The attractions in Kinderland include a children's carousel, tubing track, playground, Indian tent and show stage. Another highlight for children is the adventure forest of mascot Nauderix. On the ski trip through the forest, visitors encounter numerous animals. Small snowboarders can practice their first tricks in Nauderix Kidspark. The park is professionally shaped. There is also a practice area with a plate lift at the bottom station. Here children and beginners can make their first attempts on two boards. There is a ski kindergarten for children from the age of two. Here they are looked after by trained kindergarten teachers.

Five ski routes lead through the ski area. One highlight, for example, is the Route Gueser Kopf. It starts at the highest point of the ski paradise Reschenpass and offers a unique panoramic view. The route can be reached via the Tscheyeckbahn - Panoramalift.

Snowboarders will find a halfpipe and a boardercross track in the Bergkastel ski area. In the Snowpark Nauders Familypark and the Railpark Nauders boxes, jumps, slides, rails and waverides are available. The locals of the "Senseless Crew" from Nauders also regularly present their skills in the snowpark and serve as the best reference.

The ski area Nauders Bergkastel belongs to the Ski paradise Reschenpass. Together with the South Tyrolean ski resorts Schöneben - Haider Alm the area offers 120 kilometres of slopes.

On Mountain Dining

Tirolean delicacies and specialities are available in the cosy hut on the Lärchenalm. Tuesdays and Thursdays it is also the meeting point for the night toboggan evening with subsequent fun in the huts.

The panorama and children's restaurant Bergkastel is particularly suitable for families. There is a children's play area here, and the Nauderix Kinderland is quite close.

In all restaurants and ski huts there is free WIFI. For example, you can share your piste photos directly with the world or get the latest news about the day in the meantime.

Must-Ski Runs

Two downhill runs of varying degrees of difficulty lead down into the valley: the Bergkastel downhill run, marked in red, can be reached from the Bergkastel top station and from the Alm lift base station. The blue marked Avagrass descent leads from the Tscheyeckbahn to the valley.

The longest descent is the 9 km long Tscheyecktal descent with a difference in altitude of 1266 metres. The hardest downhill is the 3 km long downhill "Die Schwarze". It branches off from the Tscheyeck descent and leads over steep mogul slopes.

Particularly recommended is the west descent from the base station of the Almlift. It leads through the forest. The red marked Gaisloch descent is especially wide and therefore ideal for carvers.

Especially toboggan fans get their money's worth in Nauders at the Reschenpass. With a length of 8 km, the Bergkastel toboggan run is one of the longest natural toboggan runs in Tyrol. The illuminated Lärchenalm toboggan run is half as long. There are also two other toboggan runs in the ski area, the 3 km Novelles toboggan run and the 2.1 km Parditsch toboggan run.

Nauders also offers a network of 110 kilometres of winter hiking trails. Guided snowshoe hikes or a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through the winter wonderland are also possible here.

In the centre of Nauders, on the Gurdanatsch meadow, you can ice skate or curling on an area of 4,000 square metres. The "Winter Wonder World" in Nauders also includes a tubing track and a Zipfelbob track. And if you get a bit cold after so much winter action, you can warm up with mulled wine and punch.
