Snowboarders of all levels of ability will find that Obertauern caters to all of their needs. Beginners will probably prefer the slopes at the Schrotteralmlift and the Kirchbühellift. The greatest attraction for intermediate boarders and freestyle fans will probably be the excellently equipped boarder park featuring large kickers, quarterpipes and grinds. The experts among the snowboarders should test their skills on the Gamsleiten 2, descending from the 2357m peak of the Gamsleitenspitz. Those who have mastered the incredibly steep, mostly ungroomed slope can doubtlessly count themselves to the very best among boarders. But also all the other trails in Oberleiten should satisfy boarders and provide them with lots of fun and diversity. Since the majority of the trails are of adequate breadth snowboarders and skiers will hardly ever get in each others way.
