“Téléovronnaz” belongs to the smaller ski resorts in Switzerland. Consequently beginners and inexperienced skiers can take first steps on skis unhurriedly. Indeed two thirds of the 30 kilometers of the groomed slopes in Ovronnaz are of intermediate level (marked red), but with a little bit of experience and courage even beginners should come to terms with these descents. Below the base station in Ovronnaz a practice slope and a short baby lift of 100 meters length are located. Unfortunately this beginners area is not integrated into the rest of the ski resort. Hence one needs to unstrap the skis and cover 200 meters on foot in order to reach the practice area. In the ski resort itself slope number 10 (please have a look at the trail map), a short practice run, caters to the novices needs. Slope number 7 leading down to “Petit Pre d´Euloi” (1998 m above sea level) seems to be suitable for skiers who have had some experience. Unfortunately number 7 is the only easy (earmarked blue) slope, therefore Ovronnaz only obtained the middle-rate result of 3 stars in the beginners category.
