30 kilometers of groomed slopes will probably not be enough for most experts!

Valuation Experts:
Ovronnaz: Valuation

Only five out of 30 kilometers of groomed slopes are of difficult level (earmarked black). Moreover the 20 kilometers of intermediate slopes (earmarked red) are also not very challenging. Descent number 8 (please have a look at the trail map) is the only slope that demands expert skills. The run down from the “Tsantonnaire” mountain leads from the peak (2500 meters above the sea level) via slopes number 4, 3 and 1 down to the base station in Ovronnaz. This very long descent could be fun and challenging even to excellent skiers and snowboarders. Unfortunately there is no permanent racing slope and no speed measure slope available for experts. The ski resort “Téléovronnaz” caters to families but hardly fits the demands of excellent skiers and experts.

In the case of fresh snow you can find some pretty powder runs next to slope number 6.
Above the timber line you can find some nice powder runs.
Ovronnaz provides one of the most beautiful panoramic views across the Valais.
Our tip for expert skiers: The very demanding slope number 8.
