A small funpark and pretty fine powder runs for snowboarders!

Ovronnaz: Valuation

Ovronnaz is certainly not a famous boarder resort. Below the Jorasse après ski hut, which is 1940 meters above sea level, a small fun park with a few kickers can be found. Some nice, but not too high jumps are possible there. Unfortunately the steeper descents of Ovronnaz are below the timber line. Consequently there are not many powder runs, which are very challenging. When there is fresh snow, boarding next to slope number 4 is the best place to draw some lines into the powder. After the lift facilities close we recommend not only skiers but also all snowboarders to visit the famous spa “Thermalp” in Ovronnaz. Our tip: Buy the “Combi-Ticket” which allows you to use all lift facilities of the ski resort and visit the spa. Because of the fine (however not many) powder runs, Ovronnaz is awarded 4 stars out of five in the category snowboarders.

Normally you can keep your board on. There are not many very plain sections in Ovronnaz.	Some kickers and rails at the fun-park next to the Jorasse mountain hut.	From slope number 5 you can reach some beautiful and untouched powder runs.
There are only a few trees in the upper part of the ski resort	The kickers in the fun-park are pretty small and not too demanding	Fun-park next to the Jorasse ski lodge.
