Since Salt Lake City hosted the Olympic Games, Park City has gained international fame. Especially the trails and lift facilities have highly profited from the investments of that time as today Park City features solely modern and fast chair lifts. The combination of modern lifts and challenging ungroomed terrain makes park city especially attractive for skilled and expert skiers / boarders. Worthy of praise are the terrain parks which are certainly top in North America. And due to the proximity to Salt Lake City and the many bars and pubs on Park City Main Street park city is also among the best Après Ski spots in the USA.
