The resort "Predigtstuhl"

The skiing resort „Predigtstuhl“ is located about a kilometer away from the small village „Sankt Englmar“ and can be reached via the autobahn A3 exit “Bogen”, then heading towards “Viechtach” or the federal highway B85 coming from “Regen”. After a somewhat confusing drive to the base area of the resort, you’ll find a (on weekends and holidays over-crowded) toll parking lot. If you are lucky, you’ll get one of the few no-cost parking lots. The confusion, however, does not end here: once you’re on the slope you have to be careful which lift to take, as not all lift-facilities at the “Predigtstuhl” (1024 m) can be used with the same ticket. The only choices you have is either to buy another ticket or to only use the two ski-lifts (“Predigtstuhl-Doppellift I” & “Predigtstuhl II”) the “Predigtstuhl” ticket is valid for.
