Expert riders will not really get their money’s worth at the resort of „Ratschings-Jaufen“. Unfortunately there is not a single catgory black run to be found throughout the whole resort. The local tourist board did ist best to improve the situation and created a permanent training area, that is first and foremost used skiing teams from all over Europe. In addition to that you’ll find a permanent slalom run with automatic time measurement at the „Rinneralm“ lift. Should there be enough snow on the ground there are a few areas in the upper regions oft he resort where you can enjoy riding unprepared terrain. Expert riders therefore can definitely spend a day at the small but nice resort. The highly modern ski lift facilities are also noteworthy in this context. A day-trip to „Ratschings-Jaufen“ can therefore definitely be reecommended to professional riders.
