Advanced riders will definitely have a good time at „Ratschings-Jaufen“. The skiing resort does almost only consist of category red terrain. The seemingly small size of the resort with ist 25 kilometers of slope should not put athletic riders off, as the very versatile offer you get there makes up for the size. Even as expirienced rider you can spend a day at „Ratschings-Jaufen“ without ending up being bored. Landscape-wise the skiing area also has something to offer. The breathtaking panorama of the Tyrolean mountains can be best enjoyed at the mountainstations of the chair lifts „Enzian“ and „Saxner“. Another specialty are the extra long slopes at „Ratschings“. From the mountain stations oft he „Rinneralm“, the „Enzian“ or the „Saxner“ chair lifts down to the valley it will take you quite a while. Sould there be enough sno on the ground you can show your skills on unprepared terrain in the upper regions of the resort. The area region „Jaufen“ is generally a little quieter and will therefore propably enjoyed by those who like carving. Conclusion: „Ratschings-Jaufen“ is an excellent resort for athletic riders!
