Especially for families with small children the ski resort above Berchtesgaden – Oberau is worth visiting. A small kid’s park and a practice slope are at the childrens` disposal in Oberau. There they can improve their skiing or boarding skills. Ski and snowboard school programs to give every one confidence on the slopes are also available. Moreover the seven kilometres of very easy (blue marked) trails at the Rossfeld excellently fit the demands of families with small kids. Hence chances are high your kids may never want to leave. If the kids have some experience in alpine skiing the two red slopes should be easily mastered. The longest piste, the 5 km long slope down from the Rossfeld to Oberau is one of the most beautiful ones for families. Five stars out of five for families.
