Advanced or very skilled snowboarders will not have much fun with the very gentle terrain of the ski resort. Even the two intermediate (red marked) slopes are much two short and don´t provide difficult sections. A small funpark for snowboarders can be found next to the “Gipfel-Lift” (peak-lift). Boarders can try some jumps on the kickers. Halfpipe, rails or other snowboard facilities are missing in the Rossfeld ski resort. On the other hand, the ski resort leaves nothing to be desired for snowboarding beginners or skiers who want to switch to the snowboard. Especially the very gentle descent next to the “Wald-Lift” (forest-lift) and the two practice slopes will make snowboarding novices enjoy an easy, convenient introduction to the sport.
