At one of the biggest resorts in Austria the advanced rider will find innumerable options of demanding category red runs. The, altogether, 24 category red slopes optimally spread throughout the “Skicircus”. In one day an athletic and ambitious rider can check out the whole resort via the 95 “red” slope kilometers. The only time the skis need to be taken off is to reach the connecting ski lift facilities at the village-base areas “Saalbach” and “Hinterglemm”. The whole resort is easily accessible thanks to the well placed and organized ski lift facilities. Particularly recommendable are the World Cup runs 13 and 53 and the category red runs around the mountains “Schattenberg-Ost”, “Großer Asitz” and “Kleiner Asitz”. Another highlight is the declared carving run along the “Hochalm” chair lift. All in all, a total of five stars, highest possible rating, in the category “Advanced”.
