Schladming – THE ski resort in Styria

The best way to reach the ski resort “Schladming/Planai” is northbound via “Salzburg” and the autobahn “A 10”. The alternative route, which is toll-free, leads via “Bundestsraße 159” over Bischofshofen where you switch to the “B99” towards Radstadt and then onward towards Schladming. Southbound the “A 10” is recommendable, as otherwise you have to make a circuit via several mountain pass roads. “Schladming” is located in proximity to the mountain resort Ramsau and only about 50 km from “Salzburg”. The parking lot situation is more than amply. You have the choice between parking directly at the base station or taking the gratis ski-shuttle from bus parking lot located about 800 m from the base station of the ski lift facilities.
