The search for some serious kickers, rails or even a half pipe in “Schladming” will be in vain. This, of course, dilutes a real snowboarder’s pleasure. This, however, does not turn “Schladming” into an totally uninteresting place for board riders. Although, there are hardly any baby/beginner lifts, which make things easier for snowboard novices, the great variety of slopes makes this resort a nice place to ride. The slopes are comfortably wide, so that snowboarders, as well as, skiers can smoothly ride along, without getting under each others feet. Unfortunately, more than 3 stars are not possible in this category.
