Schmittenhöhe is home to 29 fantastic trails and offers a great array of possibilities for all levels of ability. For novices in downhill skiing adequate trails are trail 1 and 2 (see trail map) as well as the babylift 18 at the base of the Areitbahn and the Enzianlift (25). The transfer from the very easy beginners lifts to the little more demanding gentle trails is easily feasible. Beginners are provided with 14 trails in the blue (easy) category which ensures variety and enjoyment even for novices in down hill skiing.
