The glacier ski resort „Schnalstal“ offers one great advantage for professional skiers: You can pursue your training during the summer months on real snow! During the winter months, the resort also offers some nice runs for professional skiers off masstourism. The skiing area „Schnalstal“ has 3 black runs „on the menu“ . The runs R1 and R2 are particularly recommendable to pro riders. The black base area descent down to „Kurzras“ is rather unchallenging for top riders and can also be managed by advanced skiers and snowboarders. Some of the intermediate runs, for example the „Lazauner“ racing run, will also entertain very skilled skiers. All in all, however, the intermediate (red) runs, particularly those at the glacier plateau, aren't steep enough to challenge professional riders. Although the resort lacks a legendary high challenge run, a top skier can definitely spend a great day at the „Schnalstal“ ski resort off the beaten track and enjoy uncrowded slopes and ski-lift-facilities.
