Serena - A paradise for every terrain park fan!
Serena has without a doubt one of the best terrain parks and some of the best freestyle skiing in southern Finland. It is easily reached by taking the 21 bus from Leppävaara or the 86 from Espoo. The stop on both routes for the resort is Serena. Trains (Y / S / L / A / E / U) to Leppävaara leave Helsinki practically every minute. Coming in from the opposite direction (Kirkkonummi), there are trains (S / U / L) leaving about every 20 minutes for Espoo. The Finnish website www.ytv.fi/ENG provides detailed travel information for the area, including the exact arrival times of the train at the base. Getting there by car is just as uncomplicated over highway E12. Take exit 11 toward Loppi / Klaukkala / Klövskog. After about 2.6 miles (4,2km) you'll turn onto highway 1324 (following the signs to Serena) and stay follow it for another half a mile until you reach the ski area. You can purchase your lift tickets at the ski shop across from the lift terminal (50 meters from the bus stop and parking lot). Five lifts and 1.86 miles (3km) of trails make Serena one of the largest resorts in southern Finland and is particularly strong in the Snowboarders category, with one of the largest snowboarding terrain parks in all of Finland. Here a quick key to the trail map: Green and purple trails = blue trails; The red halfpipe = difficulty red; Yellow kicker line = difficulty blue.| Final grade: |
