„Helm“ – THE skiing mountain in the „Hochpustertal“!

With ist 22 kilometers of skiable terrain the resort between „Sexten“ (1310m) and the „Helm“ (2433m) is THE center of skiing in the wonderful „Hochpustertal“. „Sexten“ is located in the picturesque and bizzare mountain formation of the „Dolomites“ not far away from the famous „Drei Zinnen“. Easiest way to reach the skiing area is via the Brennerautobahn A22 which you leave at exit „Brixen“. Then you head towards „Bruneck“ on the E66. From there just follow the signage to „Innichen“ and „Sexten“. There you’ve got the choice between entering the resort via the arial railway or the gondola at „Vierschach“. Particularly on weekends the arial railway is overcrowded so that it makes sense to drive to „Vierschach“.
